Artillery dial range corrector – Below is the document supplied to the Artillery providing instructions of how to achieve maximum shrapnel effect with their different weapons. This device was invented by Major L.A. Notcutt to help the British make more accurate adjustments to their aim based on observer reports. The last page of notes is from Arndell himself. There are no dates on this document, but he sent them back to his brother Hubert and they were received in the mail on 11th October 1918.
